Archimedys™ installs dust collection equipment

One of our customers installs dust collection equipment for companies. He needed two Archimedes screws urgently for a special application. However, the lead times for manufacturing the steel screws were too long, so he was unable to deliver his installation on time.

The Archimedys™ solution was therefore presented to him and chosen to meet his urgent need. He was provided with the blueprint for his conveyors, as well as the screw drawings, and our team was able to supply him with two assemblies within a few days.

Archimedys™ and its many benefits

The need for quick handling by maintenance personnel, rapid installation, recovery of existing elements - these are the main advantages of this new technology. Featuring a simple, compact design, the Archimedys™ screw is lighter than a steel screw. This makes it much easier to install. The screw is built simply, without any welding, by assembling standard modules directly on site. What's more, if damaged, the modules are replaced in the event of an accident. They can then be put back on the axle without having to replace the whole screw.

The technopolymer used in its manufacture is highly resistant to corrosion. Its abrasion resistance is often three times greater than that of steel.
